Dr. Gabriel Dadi is an assistant professor of Civil Engineering with a focus on Construction Engineering and Project Management. Dr. Dadi’s research experiences include the use of 3D design and haptics, through 3D printing, for spatial engineering information understanding throughout construction project delivery. Building Information Modeling (BIM) has revolutionized the way that design is executed, understood, and presented, but the actual planning and execution of construction activities in the field are processed using 2D drawings. Dr. Dadi seeks to understand cognitive workload and productivity performance of various visualization techniques to improve the communication and interpretation of information in the construction industry.
