The Canon 7D Digital Camera features an 18.0 Megapixel sensor and Dual DIGIC 4 Image Processors. The 7D can also be equipped with a variety of lenses including fisheye, telephoto, and standard lenses. The HPX500 features a high-performance digital signal processor (DSP) with 14-bit A/D conversion and 19-bit processing that handles HD/SD format conversion simultaneously — ensuring spectacular images in all video formats for applications ranging from news acquisition, independent filmmaking, corporate video, sports and much more. Records in 1080/60i, 50i, 30p, 25p and 24p; in 720/60p, 50p, 30p, 25p, and 24p; and in DVCPRO50, DVCPRO and DV. A full editing station typically includes the following hardware and software: Mac Pro (dual processors and upgraded memory) with dual HD monitors, Final Cut Studio Pro, Adobe CS5 Master Collection, and various hardware pieces to provide importing of media from MiniDV, DVCAM, P2, Compact Flash, and other media devices. All media is rendered in high-definition and can be exported to DVD, BluRay, and various streaming formats. Editing Stations are also used for Graphics and Web Design. In addition, the Center maintains a multi-terabyte media server (not pictured) to store HD footage and finished projects.
